PAWEL WYBORSKI

Born in Starogard Gdanski, Poland (1975), he graduated from sociology at the University of Gdansk. He had enjoyed expressing himself through artistic means for many years and finally after University decided to do become more serious about artwork.

Pawel's early works were inspired by the Shroud of Turin, which may also be described as contemporary religious painting.

During Amberif 2002, an International Amber, Jewellery and Gems Fair, held annually in Gdansk, Poland, Pawel had the opportunity to introduce some of his newest artistic works using amber as an import role – it became a decorative and significant element in his painting. His use of amber in his medium has grown and established him as an innovative, imaginative and very talented artist. He called his first paintings using amber his “Amber Pictures” or in Polish – “Obrazy Bursztynowe”.

Pawel's works may be found in private collections in countries around the world including Poland, USA, Germany, Ireland, Belgium and many others.
